Learn how to align items along the cross axis

What is Align Items?

Control how items align along the cross axis (usually vertical)

The align-items property controls alignment perpendicular to the main axis. For a horizontal flex container, this means vertical alignment.

Try different alignments:

Small

Medium

Large

align-items: stretch

flex-start

Align to the top

center

Center vertically

flex-end

Align to the bottom

stretch

Stretch to fill height (default)
